“Why do I have the feelings I’ve made a list of that before? Okay, here we go. 1. I’m slim. 2. I used to think I have abnormally long fingers but then I learnt they call it ‘pianist’s’ fingers and since I play the piano, they are fine.. I guess? 3. I have black eyes. Rare, I know. 4. I have a scar of my left wrist. It’s a family tradition to cut all male decendants. 5. I have a rather pale skin, though it doesn’t show too much due to my fair complexion. 6. My hands are always warm. 7. I’ve heard I have a nice ass but that’s only for V’s pleasure to admire. 8. I have nice, smooth jawline, too, though it’s not very visible due to my stubble.”

57. Things you want to say to an ex

"Ex? Like in a romantic way or it could be a friendship thing as well? Because if I could, I'd like to tell my former best friend that I understand how he felt after losing his girlfriend and his desperation in bringing her back. And that I'm sorry it didn't work out and he had to watch her die once more. Also, that I understand the need to walk out of my life and that I hope he'd found peace and joy elsewhere, wherever that may be."

“Being honest. Being genuine. Being patient. These are the three things I value in a partner and Veritty has them all, plus a fiery personality.”

60. What is the biggest age difference between you and any of your partners?

"I don't think age should matter in a relationship. I know young people with deep understanding of the world around them as I know old people who still act as foolish as children. There is some significant age difference between my witch and I in my current relationship but I’ve never seen it as an obstacle. It’s the mutual effort that matters and I think whenever people blame a fallout on age difference, they were just not ready to work on other aspects and chose the easy way out."

Ice cream

"While in Paris for New Year's Eve, despite the snow and low temperatures, Veritty and I decided to order some ice cream as dessert for our last dinner at the hotel. The deal was to choose two types we both wanted to try and share, but she ended up liking both so much that I decided to let her have the two. I don't regret it the slightest. I wish one could have seen the spark inside her eyes when I told her she can have them both, if she likes, or the delight with which she ate both. But then again, I'm glad it was just me and her, so this memory will be mine alone forever and ever."

Hot Cocoa - Three things you love about yourself?

“Three? Hm, let’s see if I can count this many. I’m learning to love my magic, but I’ve always admired the art of necromancy, practiced by my father and generations on his side, despite that it’s not as practical on a daily basis as other styles of magic for some. I love the shade of my eyes as it’s rare to see someone with pitch black eyes while most claiming to have such simply carry a very dark shade of brown. Finally, I love my persistence. I do feel it’s a valuable quality to have.”

Bath bomb - What is the best form of self care?

“For me, personally, it often differs as I have these small daily rituals that I consider a form of self care, but I’d say spending time alone with my thoughts does summarize it. Maybe a quiet evening with a book, lighting a scented candle for some atmosphere, sharing a bath with my beloved fiery witch, cooking a dinner for us both, enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee... and I can go on.”

Brown Sugar - What is making your heart warm today?

“Waking up to see Veritty still asleep yet smiling in her sleep. A delicate smirk barely curving her lips and the kitten snuggled up beside her, curled in a small fluffy ball, fitting just below her chin. I must say it made my heart skip a beat.”

I want to take you on road trips that lead us to pulling over on the side of the road because we can’t keep our hands off each other. I want you and your flaws. I want your messy makeup from teary eyes as I hold you and talk to you about life. I want the 3am phone calls because you can’t sleep at night. I want to be yours and only yours. Christmas breakfast

Merry Christmas, my love.

I hope you didn’t think the books and mugs were the only surprises and that you’ll find it in you to forgive me for planning another unexpected small vacation for both of us. First, however, there are two more boxes waiting for you under the Christmas tree, which I hope you’ll decide to pack for our trip. Second, there are two plane tickets in that red envelope next to your plate underneath the note you’re reading right now. At midnight a plane will take us to New York, so we can experience a true Christmas in the big city then we fly to Paris for New Year’s Eve. And this time we’re taking Phoenix and the kitten with us, which we should finally name by the way.
