The front of his light blue striped pajama bottoms were quickly becoming stained with the blood that was seeping out of his wound - the sutures tearing as a result of his fight with Luca on the beach. Although there was a chance that Nikki could provide a simple fix with some butterfly stitches, he didn’t want to alarm the other - Nikki had paid for these stitches after all and Arlo wasn’t going to let the man know his money had gone to waste. He knocks, weakly, once on the door, he’s unsure of the exact time now but he knows it’s late - or rather early depending on one’s point of view. He’s not expecting anyone to answer, it was more of a ‘ I’m breaking in now and this is my warning ‘ knock, so that’s exactly what he does - twisting the doorknob open with one hand as the other is applying pressure to his thigh. “Atwood,” The man exhales, wincing as he moves further into the room, dragging his leg behind him. She doesn’t budge, so he repeats himself again, moving past Nikki’s bed and closer to hers. He’s hovering over her now, perhaps a bit too close. He pauses, raising both of his hands to quickly move across his face - unaware of the blood that’s now coating his features. “Clover,” He mumbles, shaking her awake with his unsullied hand.

How quickly my muse responds to your texts: arlo is the worst texter, but when he’s intrigued he’ll text back super fact (as in when they are scheming together). How often our muses text: every so often, probably not as much because arlo forgot to text back until a week after the fact. How often our muses call: when things are important or they are trying to make plans and arlo has lagged for too long. Does my muse purposefully miss calls from yours: never. he’s not the type to ignore calls on purpose, out of fear there’s an emergency and he won’t be there to help. Last text sent from my muse to yours: [ 1:29 AM ] Did you hear that creaking noise come from the attic??? Should we go see if somebody is living in there?
