The girl had been a frequent presence at the Gladstone house when half of the town disappeared, and truth be told Ara was actually getting used to her. Which was something that couldn’t be said about many of the friends that her siblings had made and brought back home with them since they arrived in Forks. She knew how much Jemma’s friendship had helped Brayan, and for that alone she was inclined to like the girl.
“Jemma!” appearing behind her and basically sneaking up on their guest as she said her name, Ara found her ways to create her own fun when the rest of the house was quiet and frankly boring her. “Here again, I see. Careful, or I’ll start to think you enjoy all of our company. A feat that hasn’t been accomplished by another living soul since... probably the 1920s.”
