Speculations and assumptions were being made with Cerberus Corp ever since Gala. Does Sabryna think about it? Yes, why yes she does. The thoughts mess with her head keeping her up at night questioning her own dreams. A dream she had her heart set on for the longest time, to be a hero who always smiles. Be the hero that the world needs her to be. Why have powers if you weren't going to use them for...good? But what about getting powers...at what cost was it truly? Cerberus Corp had been her one way ticket to work on her dreams, not for glory and the fame, just the way some of the heroes were the real deal. Since that night she questions her dreams. There was nothing crueler than leaving a dream mid way. Her values dashed. And that was just her head. As for her heart...well her heart was still beating and meant she could keep on loving. Feels don't fade away so easily.
But does she talk about it? No, no she does not. Instead, she ties the thought up in her head with a tight red bow as there were other matters on hand. More festive matters at that! Christmas time was around the corner and she still hadn't finished her Christmas shopping.
She was always a last minute kinda shopper, it bought more meaning to what she bought the people that mattered to her. It was nice to be around things that were so cheery. The bright lights the hung in ever store. Christmas musical blasting everywhere. Children and families lining up to tell Santa their Christmas Wishes or Amazon Wishlist. This was a much needed distraction.
"Thanks for coming to keep me company Livia," Sabryna thanks her friend with a soft smile ,"It's nice not to do it alone. Especially since I can't ask Keegan as that would ruin his surprise." Her smile widens a little trying not to get lost in her own thoughts,"You got much shopping that you need to get done. Or any places you wanna check out?"
