I might or might not want to take your minds off of things but I'm not sure how and I don't think it's possible
was reading the update by the wonderful @chock-and-bates (thank you, Nicole! that was absolutely perfect - as always!)
otherwise wouldn't have gone back to this race because how utterly frustrating it was (a better me knows whom to be frustrated with - def. not Seb, but it hardly makes it any easier) .
I remember this part vividly because, even though the podium was awkward the cooldown room was worse the press conf. was def. hard to swallow -
Max had his helmets and things with him even though he parked his car way earlier than Charles.
Usual debrief but with elephant in the room. Charles was not happy. not happy at all.
Max decided to go put his things away and Charles was just, looking for a way to be?
Unfortunately his team staff decided it was a good timing to call him over and they said things. Charles just decided to walk away to the other side - away from his staff (but also Max, very, unfortunately)
And when Max came back Charles was gone.
Max was just, oh. (Someone can do a better job than me at describing what could have possibly gone through his mind. )
