the day had been one filled with relaxation for chelsea, as she was now going to continue the next week in complete bliss before she started work at her father’s office. it was only to be temporary, until she found something that really spoke to her, and it wasn’t as if she was running out of money, though that would eventually happen, but she simply just wanted to do something with herself. her father was going to pay her fairly, which was more than she could ask for, and though one was to never mix business with family, she was going to do it anyway, as he understood it was only to be temporary. he deemed it several steps up from the “restaurant” she used to work at, and it made her laugh… if only he knew. her days of stripping were in the past, however, and she was coming to terms with the fact that it was a chapter of her life that had taught her valuable lessons, but it definitely needed to end. the way it had ended was abrupt, but if it hadn’t been done in the way that it had been, then it probably would have continued. chelsea needed to move on to bigger and better things, and one of those things was having celeste in her life. though chelsea was living the club in her past, she could still associate with a couple of the decent people that worked there… right? chelsea knew of at least one, and that was amanda. she was a nice, down-to-earth girl that had never done wrong by chelsea, and that was why she was so inclined to hang out with her. they had never really spoken much when they worked together, except for awkward conversations in passing, but amanda had reached out, hoping that she could get to know the duo better. it was odd, to say the least, but there weren’t any ulterior motives, chelsea could tell, as chelsea had also made it explicitly clear that she was no going back to the club. amanda’s only response to that was, “trust me, i understand why you wouldn’t want to come back”, and for that, the ex-dancer was thankful. as for how celeste was handling the idea of going out with someone from the club, well, chelsea wasn’t one hundred percent certain she was okay with it, but there had been many times that chelsea tried giving her girlfriend an out. the term girlfriend played repeatedly in chelsea’s mind each day. when she looked at celeste, her mind screamed happily, and when she wasn’t looking at celeste, her mind simply thought of the smaller girl—her girlfriend—until they were in one another’s company again. the days since chelsea had called celeste the term accidentally had been some for the storybooks, as everything seemed to fall into place with the stress of labels now pushed behind them. they were girlfriends, and chelsea had never felt a more relieving moment then that day in the kitchen when celeste made it clear that she wanted exactly what chelsea did. and though chelsea had ran from it for some time, she was now throwing herself directly into it, as it made her happy, and that was what mattered.
chelsea had been staying at celeste’s place more and more, her parents often looking at her as though she was a stranger whenever she went home for the day. they were disgruntled because they were having to take care of timmy, chelsea’s corgi puppy, but once they saw the smile form on chelsea’s features as they asked where she had been, they quickly dismissed any bad notions. alyssa missed her, and chelsea missed alyssa, which was why before she started up her new job with their father, chelsea promised her little sister that they would spend the weekend getting pampered, and though she didn’t tell alyssa about her master plan, chelsea figured she would invite celeste along for some girl time. they were going to be having girl time with two totally different people, and as chelsea glanced at the time on her phone she cursed under her breath, knowing that they were going to be late. “babe! we gotta go.” chelsea’s boots could be heard pressing against the hardwood as she walked into celeste’s room, taking in the sight of her girlfriend. “well, i was going to say that we were going to be late…” she walked up slowly behind the smaller girl, wrapping her arms around her waist from behind and pressing several kisses into the crook of her neck. “but i think we should definitely be late.” chelsea’s appetite when it came to celeste was insatiable, but it didn’t pose a problem, as their relationship was equally as rewarding both physically and emotionally. of course nothing was perfect, though celeste was damn close, and chelsea knew that nothing gold could stay, but she wasn’t dwelling on the possibility of them having fights, as they were stronger than anything, clearly, and could overcome any obstacle together. “you look great.” spinning her girlfriend in her arms, chelsea pressed celeste up against the dresser, pressing her lips all over her girlfriend’s neck and chest. they were going to be late, as chelsea had assumed, but she now didn’t care. the few that were waiting at the club for them were probably too drunk to even notice if the duo was missing, so what was an extra few minutes?
