The changes I made from canon for this character so far:

He falls for Jinu knowing he's a born female. As the conservative noble he is, he wishes Jinu would detransition and become his nurturing and soft spoken wife. Jinu actually considers it (before the canon events of the story) bc he doesn't want Zoey to feel pressured into marriage so he would take the burden for her and marry into a good family so both of them can get a more secure life

When he finds out about Zoey's party using ancient/dark magic to bring Jinu back to life, he gets furious about it and says that they "tainted Jinu's body with the flesh of a beast". At hearing that, Zoey punches the shit out of him in anger before being stopped and pacified by Romance (Baby might or might not have smirked at that, who knows lol)

Overall their relationship is more complicated bc he doesn't understand all the things that Jinu is going through with his transition and is idealizing him a lot, but he's not a bad guy per se...

Ohhh thinking about that scene, still unsure how it'll play out. I got some options

Context: I think people who know Jinu or Zoey's party in general already suspect that he's a born female bc I think he might have to use the women's restroom, right? Also would have to go with the girls when using the public bathhouses. And he changes the way his voice sounds by using magic to affect his vocal cords (I like to think he can do that since Falin can affect the nervous system with her magic), but when he's tired/out of magic he has no choice but to use his natural voice

They get to see his D cups (personal HC), no way around it (?

I saw someone with a ftm Jinu headcanon that said since they didn't have surgeries/that kind of surgeries so he kind of self-mutilated I think. So instead of tits they'll see some... uneven scars

They do see his tits, but I wanna add an extra scene at some point where he talks to Gwi ma and he makes a deal so he can get his body modified. He's unsure about changing his lower parts, he only gets his boobs removed and his voice changed

I'm kinda inclined to choose the 3rd one though 🤔

If they do see his tits, it's very likely Rumi's first thought is "NO WAIT--... Seriously why do you wanna be a man for..." bc she truly doesn't get it (she starts to understand when Zoey tells the group about Jinu's childhood later on)
