Every once in a while I’ll think about T4T Rujinu where they’re both Transfem except Jinu doesn’t realize that yet but Rumi figures it out after Jinu says something like, “Yeah sometimes I think it would be really nice to be a girl but everyone has those thoughts yk?” And now Rumi is on a mission to help Jinu realize that, if Jinu wants, you can be a girl in today’s society. And at first Jinu is like, “I don’t know, I’ve been a guy for over four-hundred years, is there a point in changing that?” But Rumi points out that just because something has been one way for four-hundred years doesn’t mean it should stay that way, as seen with Gwi-Ma. And Jinu thinks about that. A lot.

And then a week later Jinu suddenly blurts out, “Okay but if I were a girl, could we still. You know..?” And Rumi has fantastic news about the existence of bisexuality.

I had an idea and made this doodle. Jinu from my AU is a trans man, and since he lived in a time when mastectomies didn't exist, he removed his 🍈🍈 alone.

The changes I made from canon for this character so far:

He falls for Jinu knowing he's a born female. As the conservative noble he is, he wishes Jinu would detransition and become his nurturing and soft spoken wife. Jinu actually considers it (before the canon events of the story) bc he doesn't want Zoey to feel pressured into marriage so he would take the burden for her and marry into a good family so both of them can get a more secure life

When he finds out about Zoey's party using ancient/dark magic to bring Jinu back to life, he gets furious about it and says that they "tainted Jinu's body with the flesh of a beast". At hearing that, Zoey punches the shit out of him in anger before being stopped and pacified by Romance (Baby might or might not have smirked at that, who knows lol)

Overall their relationship is more complicated bc he doesn't understand all the things that Jinu is going through with his transition and is idealizing him a lot, but he's not a bad guy per se...
