Friday & Saturday December 1 & 2 1:00pm - 4:00pm 5151 Park Avenue, Fairfield CT University Commons Building Room UC-104 (both days) (right around corner from Theatre Department) Everyone welcome (Students & Faculty) There are 11 different short films shooting between December 7 - January 7. Each shoot is approximately 1-3 days long. The job is PAID!!! THE TRUTH HURTS Directed by Brian Hogan Synopsis This is a pilot for a web series about a family where everyone has a secret they have to confess but don’t know how. Set in small town America, this mystery focuses on a family with genuine love, buried secrets and heartbreaking consequences. Genre: Mystery/Family Drama/Comedy Character Breakdowns: Kitty (20-25) Kitty is a caucasian woman in her early 20’s, with a chip on her shoulder and a pile of vices to match. She’s a tough girl with a soft spot for her brother Cody and a hardness toward everyone else. Cody (18-22) Cody is a caucasian man, gay, 17-18, and going into his senior year of high school. He is in love with his secret boyfriend Trevor, close to his sister Kitty, who is also his best friend, and getting sick and tired of living in his stuffy closet. Trevor (18-22) Trevor is gay man (any ethnicity) 17-18, a senior in high school, and Cody’s secret boyfriend. He is well-adjusted, out of the closet, and a football player. His courage is what inspires Cody. Tim (40-50) A father and husband in his 40’s-50’s. He’s a working man who’s made a good living for himself and his family, living an upper class lifestyle. He and his wife have been keeping a dark secret from their son for his whole life, and it’s all about to unravel. Sharon (40-50) Sharon is a wife and mother in her 40’s-50’s. She is smart and cunning and very protective of her children. She and her husband have a dark secret that’s about to be revealed.
