Anyway, sorry for the lack of uploads, I've been messing around with different art and writing styles and none of it was really good enough to post.
I am also, as of when this post should upload, on vacation without a computer, because I'm an idiot, so other than a few things I wrote over the past week I have to suffer with not having any writing.

Why did I tell him that? He doesn’t deserve this. He deserves a better brother. A better life. Why… Just why? Why him? Nightmare sighed, trying to ignore the stuffy feeling in his head. He was used to going on missions low on magic, this shouldn't be an issue, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to complain about being sick. His skull felt way heavier than usual, and breathing seemed difficult. Nightmare didn’t know why skeletons needed to breathe, they just did. It was annoying. He checked the time. It was a little after two-thirty, so he had about half an hour before he needed to meet Killer. Nightmare grabbed his jacket from where it sat on a chair by the door and headed outside. The chill air of the outside immediately hit his face, causing a faint purple blush to appear on his face. Yeah, definitely going to need to get Dream a new jacket. Half-melted and dirty snow crunched under his feet as he walked down the sidewalk, his breath creating little fog clouds in the air.
~~~I wasn’t quite sure where to go with this, so just imagine a few hundred words of NM walking and regretting his life decisions~~~Because writer’s block~~~Also it’s cafe time now~~~And I probably butchered Ccino’s personality, lols~~~
The bell on the door jingled as Nightmare walked in. It seemed he was here before his “partner in crime”, meaning he could relax with the cats for a while. The cafe’s owner called out, “You were just here yesterday, am I that irresistible?”
Nightmare chuckled lightly replying, “no, just meeting a… friend.”
Ccino smiled, slipping out from behind the counter to guide Nightmare to a table. “I noticed that hesitation, are you sure they’re just a friend~”
Nightmare sighed, ignoring the other skeleton’s teasing. “‘Work acquaintance' is a better term.” He said as he settled down at the table the elder directed him to.
“Mhm,” Ccino nodded quietly, a slight smirk showing on his face. “Anyway, do you want anything to eat?”
“No thank you, just here to cuddle cats and wait.”
“Okay then, just call me if you need anything,” the older skeleton smiled and went to greet another customer that entered the cafe. Nightmare smiled when a grey-and-white cat jumped up onto his lap, purring profusely. The cat quickly settled in his lap, kneading his legs and vibrating him with it’s purring. The bell on the door jingled again, and Nightmare looked over. Killer walked in, glancing around the cafe. Nightmare waved him over, and Killer walked over to Nightmare’s table.
“‘Sup Nightmare,” Killer greeted.
“Hello.” Nightmare’s smile had shrunk a bit, but he kept it up in order to not worry the cafe’s owner, who was observing them from the counter. He pushed the cat off his lap, standing up to be closer to Killer’s level. Killer smirked and rose up to his tiptoes to get rid of the small height gap between the two. Nightmare sighed and turned to grab the jacket he had set next to him. “Let’s just get going,” he sighed out.
“‘Kay, we walkin’ or do you have a car?”
“Walking, unless you want to try and take the bus.”
Killer turned towards the door and started walking out. “Nope, walking’s fine.” Nightmare followed Killer out, waving a goodbye to Ccino, who offered a cheery smile in return.
The two walked in silence, their breaths making small clouds in the air. When they finally reached the train station where their mission would be carried out, Killer spoke up. “So, what's the plan?”
Nightmare blinked, only now realising he had forgotten to tell the other. “I need you to distract the guards while I mess with some of the crates.” He murmured quietly, guiding Killer toward the loading room, pulling his- and Killer’s- hoods up as he went. Hiding within the crowds of people filling the station, and faking small talk with his accomplice. “It’s cold out today, I wonder how much more it’ll snow tonight, it’s supposed to be even colder.”
Killer cast him a confused look before realising what he was doing. “Dunno, is it even supposed to rain tonight?”
“The weather claims it’s supposed to either snow or rain tonight.” Nightmare held his foot out to trip Killer. The other skeleton held in a shout, glaring at Nightmare, slightly confused. Nightmare leaned down, grabbing the door handle next to him and pulling it open, yanking Killer in after him.
Killer stood up, still glaring slightly. “Couldn’t you have just opened the door?”
“This has worked in the past. It’s apparently slightly less suspicious.”
“Whatever. How did you even open the door, I didn’t see you pick the lock. Are the guards that dumb?”
“No, I had a key already. I’ve done this before, and Dust has the keys to everything.”
“Oh. Anyways, what do you need me to do?”
“Just keep the guards away from me any way possible. Murder is not preferred, that’s a mess that’s hard to clean up.”
“But what about hiding my face and all?” Nightmare pulled out a set of masks, like the kind one might wear to an upscale party. “...Why not just wear, like, ski masks or something?”
“Dust’s rules. He has standards. It also make us more recognisable so people are more afraid, which is a plus.” He put his on, and walked toward the crates stacked in the corner. Killer quickly ran after him, pulling his knives out of his pockets.
Cut it off here, hope it's not too abrupt?
I still have no idea what kind of gang business these guys would be up to, which may be part of the reason I'm having so much trouble writing these chapters. This fic really has no direction, it's just a "go with the flow" kind of fic. As opposed to a few others which I have fully planned but have no fricking clue how to actually write.
