create your own nightmare
@ftsangwoo
it feels like a dream, like the part where you remember yourself clearly being in one place. everything is fine until out of nowhere you’re just somewhere else, an entirely different storyline reeling through your dream until it happens again, again until you wake up and instantly forget everything that just happened.
kimberly swears she was just in her group’s dressing room with her har stylist pinning fake flowers to her fishtail braid when suddenly she blinks and she’s... not. but it’s weird this time because she still feels aware of her surroundings, can take in the minuscule details of how unfamiliar this hallway is. she looks out of place in her rapunzel costume, alone in a dimly lit and vacant hallway that she knows she would never in her right mind willingly walk into.
it doesn’t take long for her panic to settle in, pupils dilating to the lack of light she tries to venture a few steps into. “... hayoon unnie?” she tries calling for her hair stylist, a slight tremble to her voice that might bubble over if she attempts to try it again. by now she’s instinctually got her hands in front of her, tightly clenching her hands into fists out of fear as her heart pounds in her chest. she has no idea what’s going on — or how she got here — but it’s freaking her out.
a light at the end of the hallway then promptly begins to flicker, alongside a strange noise that resembles some sort of inhuman groan from around the corner. kimberly jolts, arms crossing over her chest to protect herself before her eyes well up with tears, fearful, and screams. no sooner does she bolt the other way, not realizing the other end of the hallway is even darker, before she flees into the darkness.
