What do you think is currently the biggest emotional barrier preventing Felix and Christine from transitioning out of their casual dynamic, even though both of them are clearly more than just friends with benefits?
felix is afraid of his emotions and afraid of acknowledging what happened to him in the circus. he’s scared that when someone gets close to him, and sees what’s beneath the surface, they won’t like what they find. he also doesn’t want to lose christine, and is limiting himself with the boundaries that HE put in place, because he knows they work.
as for christine… well, i suppose youll have to wait and see 😋
now that christine finally had that stomach-dropping crush feeling, she knows she has feelings for felix. i would hope that my writing would speak for itself, but i know ive made it pretty subtle: as for felix, he’s been in love with her since the circus. he knows how he feels.
