When I was little, I loved horses, so my parents took me to this dude ranch so I could see what it was like to ride on one. I'd never even seen one up close before. And there was this one stallion, beautiful white mustang. I got right up to it, and when I placed my hand on it, it jerked away a tiny bit, looked at me funny. I ran away into my mother's arms. She tried to tell me that was just a natural reaction. She tried to get me on that horse, but I wouldn't. I just kept screamin' and screamin'. We got back to the car and never went back. Story of my life. I always overthought everything... car leases, gym memberships, relationships. Made me great at my job but not much else.
