So I gathered my thoughts a bit (not the feelings tho) and I’ve decided to check my bingo card, cuz I didn’t remember what I did there. I crossed fully out those which came true and the half-crossed out are the ones that came true, but not fully. I will go trought each one and write some of my thoughts about those, and I am starting in the upper one on the left and I am going in lines so, the one that is on the right from the first one and so on. I will be writting SPOILERS here so don’t read it unless you are finished with the show. I don’t want to ruin your experience in any kind of a way.
1. cube - Listen, as I am writting this, I am painting the clow face on mine. I was SO SURE about Flora turning evil, I was the advocate for this, and I believe the original creator of this theory as well. The trailer didn’t tell us much, but I had an uncanny feeling of Flora for some reason, that is why I was so sure. She turned out be much better of a person than expected. And I should have probably expected her not to be evil, because it’s Flora. Everyone wanted Flora to show up and it’d be super risky, if the show runner and the writers turned such a beloved character to the evil side. Also kuddos to Flora for being so brave and trying to help literally the whole school, sacrificing herself at the same time. The evil Flora storyline would have been interesting to watch, but I am glad how it came out no matter that. It was a desire I didn’t get, but I don’t mind at all.
2. cube - This one is half crossed out, because Stella did in fact get her wings. This was comfirmed way before the show aired, cuz the trailer showed us that. I wished she had something more of a comfrontation with her mother, which didn’t come trie. Yes, there was a moment she stood up for herself and I loved every second of it. Maybe in S3 we get a result, a final one of these two characters. Luna sees that Stella is good, she taught her things. But maybe she is a bit scared of her own daughter, because Stella has a bigger and better potential of being the best queen Solaria had in ages. I will never not apologize Stella and her ass. If she has a milion fans, I am one of them. If she has one fan, it’s me. If she has zero fans, I am dead. And I am dying on this hill (again) for her.
3. cube - This one was triciky, cuz I didn’t know if to cross it out fully or just half. I decided on half, cuz we don’t get any comfirmation from either Musa or Riven, and what their feelings are towards each other, in the moment. Yes, there is friendship forming, he cares for her clearly but we still don’t know if he already have fallen deep for her. BUT they did in fact not end up together at the end of this season, which I am happy for. Slow burn Rivusa is coming in S3 and I will be livid when it does. My only objection is - i still don’t think we have gotten enough of scene with them, I was expecting more when they were promoting it that way. Anyways - win win on all sides.
4. cube - This one, now glancing back at it, just hurts so much. There was a moment between them, but it was nowhere cute or nice. Beatrix tho was the one to save Sky from that vine thing he was trapped in, which was who knows what kind of a favor but... I love that for her. I wish they adressed it more tho, like... Sky hello, Beatrix literally saved ur life and died in the process of doing it. Be thankful.
5. cube - Dissapointed. I grew to the character of Andreas, even if he was acting as a jerk. He had his moments. And now we will not learn anything about him, because he is dead and no one is bringing him back. Only person who could shed a little light on it is Saul, so... maybe? But I doubt this very much.
6. cube - I expected one, not both of them. Oh well - was nice seeing you for the time being.
7. cube - Banquet/party scenes always end up in a fiasco. I just knew it, that if I won’t get any bingo right, this one I would. It is just a given. I mean look at S1 party scene. Don’t think hard, think smart.
8. cube - In this case I’ve gotten more than expected. Yes, I wanted them to find out what happened to Farah, just because it wouldn’t feel right if they didn’t. Would be a shame and just, disrespetful towards this character. So, when Eve showed up again, I stopped breathing in the second. My heart skipped a beat, and I was so-so happy to see her. The context she showed up in also shattered my heart and i will for sure be writting a meta about this. This just made me so happy but sad at the same time.
