I ship Fubukiyama/Hirofubu hard but this isn’t inherently romantic! I like to think that sometime before or during the FFI, Hiroto was able to get Fubuki to open up about his trauma concerning the loss of his family. Hiroto at this point is generally okay with being an orphan, especially because he was able to grow up with the emotional support from his foster father and the others at the orphanage. Despite this, he relates to and understands Fubuki’s pain and wants to be there for him in the way his foster family was for him. The two grow to be close friends because of Hiroto’s support! -❄️
