My insurance has informed me that they are not gonna pay for my top surgery...because they think I’m gonna change my mind and sue...BITCH IVE BEEN ON T FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS!!!! AND IVE BEEN OUT FOR 4!! IF THEY HAD READ ALL THE LETTERS MY DOCTORS WROTE THEY WOULD KNOW THIS IS A NECESSARY THING FOR ME!!!!

Why should anyone be surprised that a health insurance company would let a subscriber die a horrible death from cancer when the CEO can save $50,000.00, and more, and enjoy his/her yacht, jet, vacation properties and many more perks. After all it’s only a human death, nothing important.

In my list of ICD codes for official medical diagnoses is “insufficient health insurance coverage” because, even though I work in a hospital, my insurance coverage is so bad that it’s actively interfering with my treatment. I’m certain this could be said of almost all insurance in this stupid country but the fact there’s a diagnosis code is pretty fucking bleak

So I just got a letter from my insurance company (fuck you Cigna) that says starting in July they will no longer cover my birth control. The only birth control that manages my endometriosis symptoms. I spent literally 15 years on various different birth controls before finding this one that actually helps. I'm so pissed. I'm going to have to fight for an approval.

And this same fucking company has continually denied my husband's MRI that he has been trying to get for years! He has been going to physical therapy that's not really helping and their reasoning is they want him to do more physical therapy? After 2 months of no progress and the physical therapists being afraid they will make his problem worse because THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG AND THE MRI WILL TELL THEM WHAT'S WRONG!!!!!

And on top of it all, there is a certain family member who could easily pay for his MRI out of pocket but she chooses not to. She needs to have enough money to go on 4 vacations a year. (this is not about my parents, they are great but poor)

Of course I am still getting it because my mom and stepfather saved money in case this happened (because she knows how awful trans people are treated) but, there are so many trans people who don’t have that option and can’t get the necessary medical care they need!!! They need to do better! They need to stop this!
