Our stance on transID/radqueer stuff: we are pro-takeover. This means that we accept the takeover of the transID community with valid and real labels. For example: a headmate of a different race from the body using trans-race, and having all their friends going through a similar experience doing the same, until there is no space for the people who identify as trans-race in a harmful way. This also means we support non-harmful things like trans-species!
Feel free to try to debate us on our beliefs, but expect to be blocked if you are being unreasonable/aggressive!
For the past little while, we've had major creative burnout. This came from there being too many requests, and feeling like there was too much pressure to do them. However, going with less requests only made it feel like there was an invisible queue of requests, and that we had to up the quality. We also didn't want to completely abandon them, though, as they are genuinely important and helpful.
So, the new system:
Rather than "requests," we're swapping to "suggestions."
How this works:
You can request emojis, same as usual, but it is not a guarantee that they get done. Explaining why you think it's important can help, but won't guarantee it. If requested in the server, you can boost your request or requests from others with a reply to increase visibility or show support.
This way, smaller requests can have a chance, people don't have to wait to make requests if there's multiple in line, and we can re-balance our priorities to what's healthiest for us as artists!

We haven't been drawing a lot recently because things were busy, and now we're on a road trip.
It's really funny to us how most people are like "I can't draw on a road trip because I don't have my drawing tablet/my stylus is too sensitive/I need my computer program"
And we're just like- "we're driving through the Canadian shield so our thumb slips on occasion and our ass hurts if we sit in a good drawing position for too long."
We (only) draw on our phone with our thumb, we can literally draw anywhere, and our brain just says "nah not comfy enough" ;-;

Hey! We don't personally like the idea of our emojis/art being associated with sysmeds, but I'll write some things out that may be important! (And yes, this is just pro-endo arguments for the most part, but based on you being an "anti-harassment sysmed," I feel you may need to hear some things.)
Saying a group isn't real or spreading misinformation about them is still harassment! You cannot be a sysmed without at the very least supporting these beliefs, as being a sysmed is saying non-traumagenic systems aren't real.
Not all endogenic systems are claiming to have disorders. Yes, some do have disorders, but a lot don't claim to. Not to mention, diagnostic criteria says that dissociative disorders are associated with trauma, not caused by it.
If someone's brain is capable of something, it doesn't need a trigger to do it. Things such as trauma can help trigger some things, but it can happen completely naturally too. The brain is capable of a ton of shit, there's no proper way to draw the line.
I appreciate you asking us, but we aim to make the community more accepting by providing such a limit- if even one sysmed can realize how (admittedly) shitty it is to say someone isn't real and to gatekeep access to important parts of the community by getting people to join what is basically a hate group in disguise, and decides to hear the other side out to get access to our tools, it will be a success. We see far too many blogs requiring people to spread hatred and fakeclaim systems who don't have trauma to have access, we only ask that people are kind and supportive of an oppressed group to access ours.
