It’s getting very close to the time when Americans -- if they are patriots - need to act. Not talk or tweet. Or just write angry posts on Tumblr.
Allowing this man to continue to occupy the White House is just wrong.
Simply throwing up our arms, shrugging our shoulders and saying “what can we do about it??” is no longer acceptable.

I had a minor confrontation the other night when I was voting for the PA primary. Outside of every polling place there’s always people from both parties handing out literature, “helping” people with information to vote. Usually it’s a pretty quiet, respectful scene. Democracy in action as the standard operating procedure.
But nothing today in politics is standard of course.
I was met first by the GOP guy - about my age, wearing a too tight red polo shirt, thinning white hair - with his brochure. He asked me: “Are you a Republican?”
I responded, putting my hand out slowly.. “Lifelong Republican voter....”
I trailed off and stopped moving to grasp his brochure...
“....until 5 years ago when I realized that Republicans don’t stand for what I believe in.”
I turned and looked him in the eye. “I wouldn’t think about voting for anyone in your party any more,” I said quietly “You can’t be trusted to govern.”
With that I turned around and moved to enter the building. I heard him shout to me. “We’re making American Great Again!,” he bellowed.
I stopped and turned around. He seemed surprised that I wouldn’t just let that comment pass. The other people around us -some voters, other party campaigners - stopped to look at us.
I walked back to Mr. GOP and said very quietly to him:
“Your party is making American great again for millionaire white male racists who love guns and porn stars - and no one else.”
I could have gone on but I stopped there. I walked away and got in line to vote. It was gratifying to see at least 2x more Democrats voting in the primary during my short time at the poll.
After voting I left by a side entrance, hoping to avoid seeing the GOP guy and getting myself worked up.
There’s another time and place for confronting the idiots who can’t see through the con men in DC. For that event I’ll surely wear my FUCK TRUMP hat!
