GA 'fan' service was the ruin of Stranger things
I'm using 'fan' here very very loosely, they aim to please the general audience, those that watched it just because people were talking about it, they dropped the show as soon as they finished that last episode and never came back again, don't know their characters' name, don't care about their storylines. In return you let down your most loyal section of viewers in the most egregious way, underestimated, disrespected them. Just nasty, lazy, and in the byler subsection, the most ill spirited, cruel, queerbait I have ever seen.
