Adventures in Central Park ||
Looking at the last tweet Ayla sent him, he didn’t reply, a frown on his face. He had seen the other tweets between her and Troy and as much as he tried to ignore it, he couldn’t. He blamed it on Zelena, knowing he was not the jealous type, but he couldn’t help it at the moment. He continued staring at his last tweet knowing he was being over dramatic, knowing it was too late to take it back now. Immediately he felt dumb, shaking his head. He wasn’t like this. He hit the reply button and started typing an apology, a joke, anything that got them back on good terms. He didn’t want their last days to be anything but happy. Before he could send it however, he felt a snowball hit him in the head. He looked up, his eyes meeting the ones of a small girl. He laughed, shoving the phone in his pocket and immediately forgetting he was upset.
It seemed like the snowball fight had started earlier than he thought. Laughing as he took cover, peeking over the bench he hid behind it looked like war out there in Central Park. Kids, teens, even some adults had joined in on the fight. Thank God he decided to wear his gloves today, immediately rolling the snow into balls as he started throwing them to the others. He got the little girl who had hit him earlier and he let out a loud laugh, ducking as she tried to hit him back.
There were very few moments that compared to how happy Danny was right now. In the middle of Central Park, his favorite genre playing a couple yards from the fight, the ground white with fallen snow. Danny was just an overall happy guy, he was a simple guy when it came to making him laugh. Hiding himself behind one of the benches, ducking the snowballs, he was happy. Blissfully and completely happy.
Part of him was missing a certain someone, knowing she would be having just as much fun as him had she said yes to meeting with him. The other part of him, the child-like part was content, glad he hadn’t stayed inside today.
Looking across the open field, he looked to his right, seeing a better shelter to hide from the snowballs. He had to make a run for it quickly, knowing the others would all try to hit him. Jumping out from behind his spot he took maybe 3 steps on the concrete before he felt the ground fly out from under him. Landing on hard his arm, his first instinct was to yell but all that came out was a laugh. Holding his arm that was now limp in his other hand, he turned over, still laughing, feeling a few snowballs hit him.
Ten minutes later he was in the back of an ambulance on the way to the hospital, asking the EMT to take his picture. Putting up the peace sign, he posted it on twitter, still laughing because of course this would happen to him.
Rewatching Teen Wolf
Sooo I'm rewatching Teen Wolf and started loving characters I didn't like before and I cried a lot at the end of 3b and everything is nice and dandy but I STILL WANT A FUCKING EXPLANATION FOR DANNY!
I'm very happy that Danny and I talked today. I said things that I've wanted to say for a while. Unfortunately I don't know how much will change since he did that thing where he doesn't text me back.
