Tagged by the Tanaka to my Noya @ezzydean!
This is actually the 7th paragraph of Deceivers Are Believers cause it doesn’t have 7 pages yet, and all my sentences are way too damn long.
Tadashi worries his bottom lip between his teeth for a moment before he answers. “Because I like you.” Chikara blinks. Tadashi takes a huge breath and then continues before Chikara can react any other way. “I can prove it. Let me help you. I can get you information. Anything you want. Please.” There’s something desperate in his eyes, like he knows this is a long shot, something that won’t budge Chikara at all, but he has to try anyway, try anything no matter how slim the chance is.
I have no one to tag cause all my writer friends have already been tagged!
prompt: chilly hardwood floors
Such a long day. Chikara knows being police captain is a hard job, has always known that, and most days he’s just fine with it, but sometimes there are days like today, ones that don’t seem to have an end in sight. Ones that don’t leave him any room to think about anything that’s not the case right in front of his face, or the people he works with. Tanaka was particularly rowdy today, but Chikara knows it wasn’t something he could help. Sometimes on days like this Tanaka gets a bit manic and lets off his energy any way he can to keep sane. Chikara shuts the door of his apartment behind him and slips off his shoes and socks. He sighs as he walks across the floors, chilled form the air conditioning, and flops face first onto the couch to rest for the first time all day.
-Deceivers Are Believers
POV
Tadashi walked in the third club in the past half hour and finally found what - or rather, who - he was looking for. Chikara was leaned up against the bar with a drink, and Tadashi is absolutely positive that they made eye contact before Chikara pushed away from the bar to go dance with a tall gorgeous brunette across the room. Even as worried and desperate as he was to talk to Chikara and fix things, he still noted how good they looked dancing together.
- Deceivers Are Believers (Part 3)
gasp
Oooo, from part 3 of Deceivers Are Believers, which was my EnnoYama weekend fic! (This part is quite obviously NOT EnnoYama, oops.)
His answer comes in the form of Asahi’s long fingers threading into his hair, firm and gentle as he pulls Chikara back a bit and then slides forward again with a gasp.
whisper
From the third part of Deceivers Are Believers:
His drink is almost gone and he’s thoroughly enjoying being pressed against his new friend (Asahi, his brain supplies helpfully, echoing in the whisper that it had been spoken into his ear in) hips moving and bodies swaying, almost completely having forgotten Tadashi, just like he wanted, when he catches sight of him again right in front of him.
