so I'm just minding my own business, forcing myself to use facebook more than usual to post some articles here and there. and guess what some one had the nerve to message me.
"Hey Marlen, I just wanted to say something from one friend to another:
You're an awesome person and I know we didn't get a long time to hang out much, but I always thought you were a cool person. The reason I'm messing you is because your facebook is nothing but political. You have 30 posts over the last 6 days, I counted about 9 'likes' and 5 comments (all 5 on one post). Not one of those posts were about you, how you were doing, nothing. 6 of those were from today!!! It's just kinda getting overbearing. I can guarantee you must of your intelligent friends on here already have an opinion about these matters, you're not really swaying anyone. Now before you start saying 'why don't you just unfriend me or block my posts, you don't HAVE to read them', my answer to that is I like reading up on what you guys from back home are up to. I like reading what you're doing with your life, if you have a cute guy, or girl, you're interested in or seeing. You just keep voicing all these opinions. Now if you want to give an opinion on a movie or game, I'd love to talk about that. But I don't know how you, the person Marlen 'the little fishy' is doing. For all I know you're dead and an activist has hacked your account and us using to to spam us, lol. And again, you're an awesome person and I sincerely respect that you have an opinion and you feel strongly about it, but your friends and I don't care about that, we see it in the news, online, we want the life of Marlen, not statistics on white privilege or minority racist charts. Trust me, if your friend care about these issues, they will, like me, have already researched it and come to our own conclusions.
