Theodore Roosevelt was a rad fuckin dude
So today in my History class, we were discussing the life of Teddy Roosevelt and all the things that exist now because of him. Anyway, we started talking about how he died, and apparently Roosevelt was gonna go give a speech when someone shot him point-blank, and the shot didn't kill him. After the shooter was apprehended, he went on to give AN HOUR FUCKING LONG SPEECH, AND HE BASICALLY OPENED HIS SPEECH WITH "Yes, I have been shot, but it takes more than one shot to kill a bull moose" AND CONTINUED ON LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL THAT HE JUST GOT SHOT. If you don't think that is badass as fuck, you're lying to yourself.
