Brock Turner receives only six months in prison (if he even serves that amount) for raping a woman and leaving her for dead. His dad argued that this is a stiff (no pun intended) punishment for "20 minutes of action "... Let that sink in for a moment....,,.how the heck does this pass as justice in this country when smoking pot can land you in prison for YEARS at a time? Is the father so delusional that he expects for the victim to be fine with this or that justice has been served? Rape is a major crime, violation and disrespect to not just the victim but all women. If I could institute Hammurabi's law in this country, this pathetic excuse of a man would be castrated by the victim (or her family (public if they chose to)) and paraded like the scum he is until he bled out and the father have his tongue cut off for blasphemy against women and justice. There is no place for rape or violence against women in this world. Women bring life into this world- which no man could possibly do. Just this alone makes every woman a treasure that needs to be cherished. It angers me that the judge looked at this pos an gave him leniency while condemning the victim to a lifetime of doubt, depression and worthlessness. I hope that those six months in prison become his last six months on Earth.
