I stopped working at Disneyland a week before Frozen came out and at that time people really only knew who Olaf was. I can’t imagine the nonsense going on now. People think Disneyland carries the same exact items as the Disney Store that’s irritating
Yeah that's how it was around early December too. They for sure knew Olaf and wanted Elsa even though they didn't know her name lol. There were so many times where I had to explain to guests that we don't have the same products because we are completely different parts of the company. I don't know how many times I had someone get mad at me or another CM because they were trying to return something from Disneyland to us and we couldn't do it or the Disneyland CM didn't remove the sensor so they come to us. They always thought we were lying but the system just literally can't read those receipts and we don't have the same sensor remover. I always had to demonstrate haha. They didn't want to travel for 20-30 minutes back to Disneyland.
