Baby French Horns
I have one of these and they are so adorable. haha Btw if anyone has questions about them feel free to ask. - (Sara) FYFH
To that person who asked advice for beginning horn: don't get discouraged. It's a really hard instrument. When I started, I had been playing trumpet for 10 years, and it was an odd adjustment. Something that helped me was sitting there with a tuner and learning the tendencies for not only the horn, but also my embouchure.

Thanks!
When I submitted my question I kind of forgot to say I'm pretty good at the clarinet, like played for 3 years and I know all my scales and some basic music theory. I also have done research on the horn, so like I know the playable range and pretty much what a beginner would be able to accomplish. Maybe that clears some things up?
That helps a little yeah. Still like I said, long tones and scales. Since you already know the scales, just learn them and work more on articulation. And try a double octave scale. They are defiantly good things to be able to play. Also lip slurs. Lots and lots of lip slurs.
Steve Park is fantastic and really awesome. I recommend anyone learning any solo pieces to look it up and watch/listen to him because he has probably played and recorded it.
I think Victoria Justice is asking herself "I wonder how would my fans react if I play the french horn?"

I remember watching that episode. I got so excited that they even had one and knew what it was, and then they started playing and I just wanted to punch myself in the face djkfhsdfjhskdf. Then they just shoved it into the locker. @-@ oh well. lol
