True. You could always try to compromise with them and say you'll pay for it and that you'll only keep a stud in. Of course if you want a hoop and they agree after the healing period you could wear a hoop while you're out and then change it to a stud when you go home??

I got my nose pierced when I was 19 without telling my parents. They flipped the fuck out but they slowly got used to it. My mom hates when I put a hoop in, and is vocal about her dislike for it, but hey, if you pay for it and are an adult, they can't really do anything about it.

Girl if you want to see a horror movie, watch The Collector. I'm a scary/horror movie buff and I couldn't sleep for a week after that movie. The Collection is a sequel to it, so if you want two movies, I suggest those two.

For me, the biggest problem with tfios was the anne frank house scene. like, as a jewish person it made me very angry that he would write a disrespectful scene like that and then he goes and says things about anne frank, basically uses her as a prop and erases the fact that her illness came from being in a concentration camp was the last straw for me

oh man i forgot about that. yeah it was cringy, i know he got like, permission from the house for the movie scene, idk if he ever said anything about the book scene (he probably did but i’m not going to go searching for anything)

so i mean i can’t really defend that, and it was a bad idea, like they really could have had that kiss scene literally anywhere else and the “aww how cute” affect would have stayed, and i’m not sure if he ever actually apologized without defending it to a degree

basically people fuck up, and sometimes they fuck up to the point where you can’t defend it (and shouldn’t try defending it)
