HAGIA SOFYA | Istanbul, Turkey. 🇹🇷 One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, so far. Not only because of its opulence (especially on the inside) but more because of its history; the stories that it carry even up to this day. Of how it was both a Church and a Mosque, now a museum. How both Religions left traces of its differences, but more of its similarities. How its dome was such a marvel of its time; an epitome of Byzantine architecture. Aha, Yes! This is why I spend most of my savings on travel.
