Caught the Cambodia sunrise just before I started with work today. I was very much unwell when I met this 40 year old tortoise and it’s owner, who had this extensive coin collection(over 2000), which he also started 40yrs ago.😮 I was genuinely impressed and amazed that for about an hour, I forgot about my migraine and stomach concerns. I gathered strength to ask questions, and indulged in his descriptions of some of his most prized and favorite coins. Despite the language difference and difficulties, I felt his pride and joy sharing his collection with us. I felt so privileged and thankful.
