Send “5 Times the Love” for a drabble based on five times my muse fell in love with your muse
The first time Jean fell in love with Edward was in their junior year of high school, when the other had stood up for him in front of a big group of jocks. While Jean was popular, the fact that he had come out as gay had changed a lot of people’s opinions on him. And adorable, little blonde Edward Elric had snarled and stepped in between the oncoming group and Jean, telling them off. Jean’s heart had completely melted.
He still hadn’t told Edward he loved him.
The second time was in their senior year of high school. Jean was having a hard time finding inspiration for his art. However, when Edward walked into class that one morning with his hair unbraided for once, letting his golden hair flow down his back, he finally found it. Edward was his muse, and with a little persuasion, he got his friend to pose for him while he sketched.
Many ‘draw me like one of your french girls’ jokes were said that day.
The third time Jean fell in love with Edward was in their freshman year in college. They were roommates and had been fighting over something incredibly stupid. It resulted in Jean pushing the other blonde against the door, glaring heatedly down at him before he just lost it and kissed him.
Kisses became a frequent thing after that day.
The fourth time was in the winter of their sophomore year of college, when Jean came down with an awful cold that had him laid out in bed for nearly a week. Despite the worry of getting sick, Edward was constantly there with Jean between his classes, always making him soup and tea, bringing him assignments, doing his homework in bed with him.
By then, Jean just knew Edward was the one.
The fifth time was on spring break of their senior year of college. Jean had been preparing for this moment for months. Edward came back to their dorm room to find a huge canvas leaning on the wall, various sketches and paintings surrounding the words “Will you marry me?” with Jean kneeling in front of it, a box in his hand.
