Some days, luck is on your side. Namikaze Minato had been feeling a little dull compared to the days when he was active on the battlefield, so he had ventured into a small clearing outside town for a training exercise. However, it seemed that moments after he had arrived, a creature had caught his scent and wandered out of the forest the clearing led into. To be specific, it was a large boar several times the size of a normal one. If it had to be measured, the boar's back reached a height that was a little over two meters. The gargantuan pig sauntered out from a gap in the trees and sure enough, it's beady eyes focused on Minato. It snorted loudly, shook its head to draw attention to its tusks, then raked the ground with its hooves. "Oh?" Minato voiced, feeling that the boar's arrival was the perfect training dummy, Minato reached behind his back with his left hand to draw a weapon, then braced himself.
The giant creature wasted no time in charging its potential food source. As it barreled in snarling, Minato thew the sealed kunai he'd just drawn far to his left, and when it stabbed into the ground, he vanished. The boar continued to stomp in, although it had noticed its target was suddenly gone. Minato had teleported to his thrown kunai, pulled it from ground, and sent it flying once again. This time, it sank into the boar's upper right side, causing it to grunt in discomfort. With a new checkpoint set, Minato used his famed Hiraishin no Jutsu once again, vanished from his spot, and reappeared just above the boar's back. As he fell toward the boar, Minato cocked back his right arm and gathered chakra to his palm. In that instant, a large, bright blue orb of swirling energy appeared in his hand, which he then thrust downward. The Rasengan collided with the boar's back explosively and forced it down onto the ground. Not only that, the impact caused the creature to sink down into the forest floor a bit and formed a small crater. With a pained squeal, the boar finally died and Minato jumped off.
Unsure of what to do with the boar now, Minato wandered away from it and thought of reporting it to someone in the town. It was certainly large enough, he assumed it could be cooked and given away at some function or other. As he thought about this, Minato's eared perked to a nearby sound and he tightened his grip on his weapon. Perhaps it was another creature roused by the sounds of battle, or maybe even a person. Whatever it was, the shinobi stood still and waited for the presence to reveal itself.
