So when I was developing Gino, I decided a few things. One, that he was a youngest child of a family of 5 sons and no daughters. Two, that his father and older brothers worked in the Business, making it a completely reasonable (and... terribly wrong) assumption that he'd fit too.
So I needed Gino to be the youngest, but still adult, son of a kneebreaker (basically) and not have said kneebreaker falling apart. So I decided two of the brothers were twins, so that the oldest son could be 30 and Gino 21 without having like exact even 2-year gaps. (Which wound up being kinda dumb cause I wound up putting Gino 14 months after the twins anyway amd there's a weirdly big gap anyway.)
And if they're twins... well, why not identical twins? And make them buttonmen. Because it's awesome. (*Super* ill-advised. But awesome.)
So anyway now you've got fairly recent backstory where The Most Oblivious Person in the World is dodging around his brothers leaving bone saws in the linen closet or...
Anyway they started being people and now I've got like two entire books scripted for the twins with two pages each so far 😅 and I have no idea why I'm doing it but, you know. They're coming out pretty cool, so
(This one will be eight pages when I'm done--putting it about five years before the current strips. The other one will be a few years later.)
