It was supposed to be a wedding dress but I guess it's not that clear. This is a colour test btw —you should totally try the pigment blending mode for brushes on drawpile! The mixing makes it feel like you're oil painting!!!

Lily of the Valley

I don’t think the petticoat would be that good if I had to animate it.. might make another design but I don’t wanna think abt it rn.

I like the scene where in Jester's theatre, Pierrot offers Columbina "broken flowers of the valley" or something along the lines like that. Lily of the valley is a "flower of the valley" in name kind of —as beautiful it is, it is also poisonous. It's safe to touch (though it might irritate some people's skin) but it is dangerous to ingest. I feel like this can somewhat describe the Pierrot-Harlequin rivalry over her symbollicaly (idk??) Like it's poisonous when ingested like how Harlequin is poisonous and the one who first bit into her.

I have no clue what I am doing btw, I think I am interpreting everything wrong but I think it is cool imagery ;w;

I think this doesn’t characterise Columbina that much because I can't really work with what we have right now T^T
