07-03-2020 - Sculptures in the Sky
Today I managed to satisfy the growing urge to get out with the camera. No organised trip just a walk around my local area to stretch my leg and eye muscles in the brighter weather.
The wind was strong and constantly ushering the thinly formed clouds across the sky. The landscape this time of year is plain. Sometimes green, sometimes brown but at it’s most uniform before the year’s growth begins. Also sometimes pungent as it seems to be muck spreading season. Unfortunately, no animals around to keep me entertained.
These conditions lead to landscapes of the sky. The shifting clouds and fluttering sunshine mean the sky held the most interest. Temporary silvery sculptures forming against the pale blue and seeming to interact with the shapes of the land before dissolving their form.
Images take on Fujifilm XE-3 with XF 60mm F2.4 Lens or iPhone 7.
