I'm really about to spend 5 hours researching Romanian and Japanese social customs from the middle of the previous millenia just so I can write about a throuple's love triangle, so I also wrote a poem to help anyone who's nervous about doing something similar:

"I don't know this topic, but fuck it I'll ball,

I'll be researching this 'til my fingers fall off."

I need to remind you that Fuma has not vanished off the face of the earth, it's complicated but he's still here. Also you may notice Simon comes to this lookout often, it's kinda like his thinking place and where nearly all his friends have gone off to.

The Tale of the “Poltergeist King”

There’s this very strange character that is mentioned in CV3′s ENG manual called the Poltergeist King, and he has no relevance to the plot of the game, only acting as the “keeper” of sorts to the Belmont’s sub-weapons (it’s just a made-up explanation for why they appear in random places).

In fact, he’s depicted in Captain N (which is how I even knew about this character in the first place). And altogether with the depiction given to him in the show along with the manual, I decided to make my own connections, oh-ho-ha.

“But Mew, how did you even get to this conclusion??”

Well... in Captain N, the Poltergeist King could take the form of a whirlwind.

Also, here’s another thing. Trevor isn’t entirely sure of the details in this tale (maybe Leon was a crummy storyteller). I have it so the “Poltergeist King” is not actually one person, but the name given to the Getsu Clan member taking on the role, and so it is possible Leon had met a different Getsu on his journey.

Fuma from Undying Moon is a spitting image of his ancestor, but I still had to find a way to tell them apart. So the energy flowing through him is presented not just like wind but also like ghost flames. Note the small curl-ups in his hair compared to the 1st Fuma.

Yes the 1st one is still alive, he's just... ah... truly here in spirit now.

Once in a blue moon I draw Fuma, and once in a blue moon I immediately forget how to draw him (aghhh). After much trial and error, I got back on track. I was mostly focused on keeping Fuma’s hair nice and fluffy, I mean for it to be naturally like that, so it’s very important~

Messing around with Simon will only make him mess even more with you. At this point, Simon is fully aware of Fuma’s presence, so he can’t always get away with being mischievous.

Over the Deborah Cliff - The First Encounter / The First True Encounter

Here’s an old face that no one has seen in a long time, if ever.

A while back I shared the idea that Fuma was the one behind the whirlwind that took Simon up Deborah’s Cliff in Simon’s Quest. And so I wanted to come back and show exactly how that happened. (I tried fitting everything into one page.)

It wouldn’t be until after Simon finishes his journey that he’d return to the cliffs to try and find out about Fuma (and then properly meet him).

No I did not draw Simon twice, though I can easily do that. I wanted to draw these two boys face to face, they have their subtle differences, given they both have nice fluffy hair~ (Although I messed up Fuma's eye style a little bit...!)
