I asked my Instagram followers to send in art requests
Purpled, watching Tommy play with a Shulker box: How much you wanna bet he gets stuck in that thing?
Eryn, sipping a cola: Nah, he's to smart to get stuck but I bet five pieces of amethyst and my dessert.
Purpled: Deal.
Five minutes later
Tommy, half in and half out of a shulker box: Guys...? I need help!
Eryn, begrudgingly giving Purpled a handful of amethyst pieces: Hold on Toms, I'm coming
Hey! I saw that you are doing requests and I thought why not?
How would undertale skeleton brothers react to Their best friend singing a song to them? And the lyrics they said to them is "Carry the peaces and the coolest of nights and carry my sorrow in kind. (Name), you are loved so much than you know. May troubles be far from your mind....and forgive me for being so blind"
(basically the reader knows about the resets and want to say sorry for being so blind not to see it)
Thank you so much! Also, if we’re operating on the knowledge that Papyrus knows about the resets I’m assuming this takes place in a scenario where Sans/Frisk/Flowey has revealed them to everyone.
First things first, they both pay you compliments for your lovely singing voice.
You’ll likely have to clarify that this was your way of expressing your guilt and apologizing for being blind to the pain the resets was bringing them.
Papyrus is quick to dismiss your apologies. In his eyes there’s nothing to apologize for. However, he’s very empathetic to your emotions, having gone through the exact same guilt.
It hurt him very deeply to know that Sans was going through something so terrible and couldn’t talk to him about it. Even if he had good reasons.
He assures you there is nothing to be sorry for. You couldn’t have possibly known. HE didn’t even know!
Sans is a little quieter.
He echoes his brother’s opinions that you have nothing to be sorry for but also thanks you for taking the time to acknowledge it.
Living through the resets really messed him up mentally, and still do to this day. It’s very hard for him to open up about it.
He just pats you on the back, “listen buddy, you ain’t gotta be any more sorry about it than i am. after all, it’s a sore-y subject.”
He grins and laughs as Papyrus scoffs.
Papyrus ends the moment with a group hug, still muttering about puns under his breath.
