Here’s the copy of Even the Mountains Crumble by rosegardenlake that I made for a friend of mine!

I’m so fucking proud of this binding guys you have no idea it was so much fun to work on and the finished product just looks so so nice. And the spines!!!! The spines are so fun and cool im so proud of them you have no idea hehehe

When i first started working on the typesetting I had to figure out how I was gonna divide the books, but I ended up just going with each book as a season, since they were already divided up that way in the fic, and it meant I got to play around with designs! Also the different length books just looks really nice :D

Final page count

Summer: 550 pages

Fall: 300 pages

Winter: 200 pages

Sprint: 450 pages

Total word count was nearly 500,000 words, which is hands down the longest fic I’ve ever bound. Also the summer book is the biggest book I’ve ever made which I think is fun :DDDD

I imagine it would be one of those situations where someone can be one type of person at work and another with their s/o. I mean some aspects of his work personality would most likely seep through sometimes *cough cough* possibly when they're making babies

i feel like albedo would have to know on some level that kaeya's lying about what he does—the blonde just doesn't know how dark the truth actually is.

like, albedo can tell that the financial consultation company that kaeya co-owns is a front for something else, that kaeya is nowhere near financially literate enough to possibly have the skill to vet employees the way he claims to, but the worst albedo suspects is that the company is a front for some low-level drug trade. that maybe kaeya's the middleman for a money laundering scheme. that maybe he's doing something with cyber-insider trading, at the very very worst.

the point is, albedo loves kaeya, kaeya loves albedo, and never would albedo suspect his boyfriend capable of something as awful as human trafficking.

and of course, a big part of love is respecting each other's boundaries, so albedo never pushes kaeya to confess the truth—but that doesn't change the fact that the little agent notices how strange it is that kaeya's dirty talk is so...possessive. like, it's sexy, but when kaeya whispers into albedo's ear about how he owns the smaller boy, how albedo is his little slut, how albedo should devote his entire life to worshipping kaeya's cock—it does raise some flags. but, kinks are kinks, and the blonde just assumes that this is kaeya's healthy way of coping with his darker urges.

if only he knew the actual way kaeya handled his urges </3

but thankfully albedo doesn't find out, through a careful mix of his own decision to not meddle where kaeya doesn't want him to and kaeya's efforts to keep his home and work life as far apart as possible.

and maybe albedo one day finds himself alone in a room with diluc at a business party. maybe diluc asks albedo what he'd do if he found out his boyfriend extorted other people for a living. maybe albedo's mind instantly figures out what the redhead means, but his heart refuses to believe it's true. maybe albedo slowly becomes complicit in this awful chain of injustice, all because he loves his boyfriend so fucking much, all because his boyfriend can't be that cruel right? it has to be impossible. albedo has to be reading too deeply into things. he shouldn't act on a conjecture without supporting evidence. and he has no evidence. no reason to believe kaeya's evil. because kaeya's not evil. because kaeya's just a good boyfriend with a strange work schedule, strange sex habits, and nothing more.

...right?
