Imagine Duke, freshly a ward of Bruce Wayne and recently moved into the manor, doing the normal thing all new batkids do and forgetting they’re, by all means, really rich.

So he’s constantly asking his siblings to buy things for him and then offering to pay them back on instinct—or denying when he doesn’t have ‘enough money’ to pay them back.

It happens most often with Tim, because Tim is always offering to buy no matter what. Duke’s also the closest in age to Tim, so he’s the nearest older sibling he’s got.

Duke: I’m hungry.

Tim: We can go get pizza or something?
