i stopped self-identifying as a feminist when i had to argue that an abled/nt man being praised for keeping his disabled son was first and foremost an issue of ableism, not misogyny

because abled/nt women get praised for raising disabled/nd children all the time and actually frequently get sympathy for murdering their disabled/nd kids (“autism moms” anyone????)

and then i was called a misogynist for saying that:)
