Had a great time performing at yesterday’s #FundHerFuture @wholeplanet fundraiser at @wholefoodsuk Kensington, London which was aimed to raise awareness and generate funds to alleviate global poverty by funding microcredit in communities that supply Whole Foods Market stores with products 🍏🌽🍉 . The #FundHerFuture campaign is focused on women in the developing world, where a small loan can help a very poor entrepreneur build a home-based business so she can create a better life for her family 🙂👍🏻 . If you’re looking for just the right place on #givingtuesday to make a donation then #StepUp is THE place to do it and know you’re making an impact. It’s an incredible non-profit that mentors teen girls from under-resourced communities in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta from grades 9-12. The organization, and mentors (I’m one) help create the tools the girls need to become confident, college-bound and career-focused. Our donations during Step Up’s 20th year of service help girls dream BIG. And the bonus- @Coach is matching funds up to $100,000 through the end of this month, so your donation goes twice as far.
