Dave Holodiloff and Gene Mason will be bringing the music to the Feathers in Flight Fundraiser for the Ventana Wildlife Society on September 12th from 2-5pm.
"Spend the afternoon with GOLDEN EAGLES along with various hawks and falcons! Stroll around this gorgeous property while savoring the ocean views, sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, 10SPAN wine, locally brewed beer, and tantalizing dessert. Special attractions include live music, live and silent auctions for unforgettable experiences, unique condor themed gifts, and much more! You might even see a live condor soar overhead. We welcome children; our staff of educators will provide activities especially for them.
As a local, non-profit organization, VWS is in the unique position of managing a critically endangered species along the central coast with no federal financial support. We work towards our goal of a self-sustaining condor population by treating condors exposed to lead poisoning, providing a supplemental food supply, monitoring nest success, and collaborating to reduce risks of power line collisions, among other threats.
