Vegan on a funeral feast

God, how i "love" eating in public places! I have no other choice, i have to go to my grandmas funeral feast. I have already been few times in a similar situations. Everybody just stares at me like an alien. "You don`t eat meat?? Why!? Are you sick? Are you allergic? I feel so sorry that you can`t eat all of this." If i will bring my own food, it will create even bigger unwanted attention! Ugh, i just hope that there will be some raw salads or at least some rice. I don`t care if they will think that i`m on a diet and just count calories. :D

What would you do in my situation?
