Just like the state fair! These Cinnamon Sugar Mini Donuts will brighten your day with their sweet and cinnamon-spiced goodness. Perfect for a fun snack or dessert.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/3 cup milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 egg. Vegetable oil for frying. 1/2 cup granulated sugar for coating. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for coating.
Instructions: Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Mix the egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Mixing until just combined, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. The batter should have some lumps, so take care not to overmix. Preheat vegetable oil to 350F 175C in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot. To make tiny donuts, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the boiling oil. Fry for two to three minutes, or until they are cooked through and have turned golden brown. For even cooking, you might need to flip them halfway through. To get rid of extra oil, take the tiny donuts out of the oil and drain them on paper towels. To make the cinnamon sugar coating, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon in a separate bowl. Roll the mini donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture until thoroughly coated while they are still warm. Warm up your mouthwatering Cinnamon Sugar Mini Donuts and enjoy!
