I would have just accepted “Sakura has enough feathers back to be stronger than Fai now” but I guess CLAMP was going for a more complicated “unforeseen technicality” situation. Which? Is strangely specific, but I’ll give it to them.
I’m not sure if the implication is [2x Feather > Half of Fai’s Magic], or if the feathers reacting to each other is just wildly amplifying the magic until it shoot ways past Fai’s current power level, but either way the tldr is ‘something unexpected and bad happened’.
We also get a confirmation that all three worlds are connected right now. I’m not sure how that’s gonna play out beyond the fact that Sakura just got stabbed, but it seems important enough to repeat the information at least.
