We have been using the Press and Learn English-Malay-Chinese Words Sound Book from @bababaabooks for two weeks now and Ollie is still loving it😜 The sound book contains more than 120 words, covering 9 subjects including zoo animals, farm animals, insects, underwater world, vegetables, fruits, vehicles, things at home and colours and shapes. Ollie’s favourite subject is vehicles coz he has been so crazy about the song “Wheels on the bus” 🚌 Its super easy to operate, so I can just leave Ollie with the book and he knows exactly where to press. The best part about the sound book is that it has 3 languages. Living in Singapore, I believe its a bonus to be able to learn Bahasa on top of Mandarin and English. Reading Fun!! 🎉📚📚📚📚🎉. This morning I paired up books with plush toys, and focused on vocabulary development, sounds and in making it lots of fun by being silly 😋. For smaller children is not about the story, but, more about whats happening in the picture. Also, instead of asking questions we focused more on comments. For example, instead of asking: whats the bear doing?, comment: oh, thats a sleepy brown bear 🐻.
