Hello! Just here to drop by and say that I’ve been reading your Magic Kaito analyses and I’m a huge MK fan (I prefer it to DC tbh rip) and I completely agree with everything you argue and comment on! It bugs me a lot too when fanon gets mixed up with canon and it’s a huge mess. Aaaa just saying I appreciate all of your MK analysis posts and it helps a ton for writing fics, especially when trying my best to make things as canon and in-character as possible. And thanks!~ The idea of things staying in character is a big reason why I point out as much canon as possible. Because I know there have been people who truly believe fandom things (and the various questionable canons of movies/OVAs/anime adaptations) to a point they truly don’t know what’s fact anymore.

I used to point out things about Kaito, specifically, back on my first rp blog for him, but being in the tags and being followed by non-rpers made things a little messy in terms of actual rp, so I moved to dropping my analysis and thoughts more here. (And then entirely pulled away from talking about what’s actually canon on my blog when people would make misinformed comments about theirs or other characters, and took it as a personal attack when I tried to set things straight, even if I was more like ‘oh, actually, if you look at this…’. It happened with more than one person, so I just. Entirely kept it to here, unless someone were very clearly asking for input. My thought process was that it could be bad to have the wrong idea about characters, but I’m not actually trying to attack people specifically. So leaving things here and analyzing is (I hope) working better. People who are interested in looking at canon and taking into consideration can use the information, if they want, and people who aren’t interested in reading can just skip it. Or read it to know where the line is, even if they might prefer fanon.)

#funroulle #I probably should have realized that rp wasn't really the place to point out canon anyway #Mostly because rp is different from just writing a story #Rping a character means projecting a lot onto said character and everyone plays them differently because of it #So saying things might have sounded like I was invalidating someone's interpretation of events #I apologised when I realized people felt attacked; but it didn't really change their view of me at that point -_-;#I won't say I'm perfect on analysis either; since you learn more as time goes on #I do try to be accurate tho #Or at the very least; insightful V:

Just saw a Pokespe BW/ Detco crossover on Pixiv...

If you don’t mind,, pLS LINK!!!!!! On Twitter there was an artist who drew a pokespe/detective Conan crossover where Emerald was Conan and it was wild but I was all in for it ya know

I would, but at this point I’m not gonna be able to find it again without searching for quite a while... And the one I was talking about here isn’t even the only one. Apparently Pokespe BW/Detective Conan is a minor Thing.
