The design of his hands over his eyes gives definite "shame" vibes, like he's trying to hide away what he's become, despite how beautiful his eyes are (ironically probably the only last human thing about himself, being hidden away out of disgust in an attempt to mask the "monster") AAAAAAAA (Marge Simpson voice) I just think it's neat.
