i'm not religious but one time i was walking home with luke and it was pouring down rain in sheets and we were stuck walking on the highway for miles and cars kept rushing past and spraying us with water and we prayed to make the rain stop and it stopped for like a minute and i was almost a convert.

My family is really interesting because my parents are divorced and don’t talk to each other and one half are all pretty democratic and the other half are tea party conservatives so it’s interesting being with both sides all of the time, but I have a really good relationship with all of my parents, grandparents, great grandparents and just all of my family in general.

Between 25 and 55 degrees and snow

I don’t want to dye my hair because I like the color that it is right now, but if I did I would have it either be black or bleached with maybe a little bit of aqua blue with it

shelves full of legos (95% lego star wars) everywhere and a loft bed with legos and a desk underneath just like it is right now. I would also like some framed star wars concept art which I don’t have

That after I graduate from highschool I won’t be able to see my friends

Amazon. They have all that I want and I don’t have to go anywhere besides a new tab.

DERSECEST IS FOREVER MY ULTIMATE HOMESTUCK OTP AND I STRAIGHTUP CANNOT SEE THEM WITH ANYONE ELSE?  ok, like, rose i can, but from the second i read homestuck dave came across to me as EXTREMELY asexual or at least aromantic.  i know that doesn't barr him from dating or anything, but i just straightup don't see him having any interest in anyone except for rose.

i think he needs rose because rose intellectually challenges him.  i don't see dave falling bad for anyone who doesn't take his bullshit and regurgitate it back at him just as eloquently.  they work in a way that's poetic in nature and they're so simillar but so different?  how do i explain why i ship dave and rose.  god. they died together.  they existed on in a doomed timeline together.  rose and dave have been so important to me for so long i can hardly put them into words.

i could ship rose with other people--i used to be fond of her with john, and now i'm awfully fond of her with kanaya.  but her and dave belong together for the rest of their lives.  romantic, platonic, familial--whatever.  i just want them together.

as for prospitcest, i've never shipped it, but i'm sure it's adorable!  i love the relationship they have regardless.

WENDIP (this has always confused me about you so im so excited for an explanation)

oh man ok so like i've made a LOT of posts explaining how i feel about wendip so if you don't mind i'm gonna copypaste for you

my relationship with wendip is such a fuckin’ emotional rollercoaster.  i’ll try to put it into words but sorry if it just comes out like dumb baby sounds.  

yes, i do ship it, just in a very specific way.  i think dipper needs to grow up.  people hear me say that and they think i mean physically.  no.  i could care less if 12 year old short stack is dating 15 year old lumberjack’s daughter.  i mean emotionally.

right now dipper is going through something basically everyone goes through: first loves.  i don’t know that canonically, but it is safe to say based on his actions that wendy’s the first girl he’s ever been madly in love with.  he’s experiencing a period of time where he is so in love with someone that he doesn’t understand they aren’t just there for him.

it’s hard to describe this without making it sound like dipper’s a total jackass with no care for wendy.  that isn’t true at all.  he totally loves her, and he cares about her, and he wants her to be happy.  but he hasn’t gotten to the point where he can accept that her happiness might conflict with the idea of what he thinks will make her happy.  dipper is overthinking, as he often does, but the key aspect he’s missing here is that not everything he does for wendy is justified just because he would do anything for her.  wendy might have different plans, and in the end, she gets to decide.

example—asking her out at the end of Boyz Crazy.  dipper’s heart was in the right place, and he figured, hey i’m gonna invite wendy to come hang out with stan and i because she’s upset.  

but dipper couldn’t have possibly developed enough empathy to put himself in wendy’s shoes and see why that was insensitive.  she’d literally just broken up with her boyfriend, ditched a date that was in large part ruined by dipper himself, and what she wanted was to be alone because people had swiftly yanked the rug out from under her in less than 10 minutes.  dipper thought that his intentions were synonymous with wendy’s feelings, that he’d saved the day and would claim his reward while simultaneously cheering up the girl he’s laid his affections with.  that’s not how people work, and that’s why he ultimately went home accomplishing nothing besides ruining a relationship he really had no business in.

this all sounds very negative and like i don’t support the ship at all, however.

reiterating, dipper is young and he has a life ahead of him to learn and grow and mature.  part of me wants wendy to break his heart so that he can get his development—as the only way to really learn how to love a person right is for your soul mate to shatter your heart and make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your look on life.  i don’t believe in staying with soul mates, i think that denies the purpose they have for you.  but i do want wendy and dipper to be together, and i do want them to be happy.  i want dipper to accept that he isn’t entitled to wendy just because he adores her, i want them to build their friendship up and go on adventures together, and i want dipper to realize that having her as a friend is just as good.  maybe when he accepts that his relationship with wendy is amazing already, that’s when she can lean over, grab his stupid vest and kiss him right on his dumb mouth.  and maybe that’s when i’ll ship it endgame.

for now, though, a tiny little boy falling over his feet and blushing around the girl he likes and writing unsent love letters?  fuck yeah.  my url is what it is for a reason.
