really great video
THIS FRIDAY!!! SO STOKED!!! BIKE MOVIES. AT THE VISTA!!!
FUNWUNCE presents “Monday Night Rehab: The Story of a Midnight Ride Leader"
FUNWUNCE PRODUCTIONS PREMIERES THE FIRST EVER
DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THE L.A. NIGHT RIDING SCENE AT
THE VISTA THEATRE ON SUNSET.
Los Angeles– 11 January 2012 – Rick Darge, has directed an in depth look at the wild,
charismatic, and sometimes dangerous world of night time group rides in Los Angeles.
Funwunce Productions plans to premiere the short film January 20th and 21st at the historic Vista theatre in Los Feliz, California. In addition to Dargeʼs documentary, the showcase will feature several other short films about the ever growing bike culture in L.A. Including Dargeʼs viral hit “Bike <3” with over a million total views online.
Funwunce is an L.A. based production group specializing in music videos, commercials,
and comedy shorts. “Monday Night Rehab,” marks the groupʼs first venture into the documentary world. Rick Darge who has been an avid cyclist for years now had always wanted
to document the offbeat uniqueness and beauty that these rides exude. In early September
2011, he hopped on his bike and began shooting the documentary on his own.
"I'm excited about showing these films to the community because they represent an
ironic niche of people in a city that is known for it's addiction to cars. No other city
has the consistent level of late night bike rides like Los Angeles does and nobody
has ever truly captured the essence and the community of people that makeup
these rides. This is what I'm most excited to share. It's something different and
alive." - Rick Darge, Director.
Mark Armes Co-Founder of Funwunce and producer of the film, said; “Itʼs really awesome
for us to take a break from the 30 second world of commercials, and release something
that tells a great story about a subject weʼre passionate about.”
“I think people have been waiting a long time for a documentary like this, It goes a long
way to explain the chaos of group bike rides and the people who organize them.”

LCD Soundsystem "Home." I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but this video proves it'll be worth it.
