hi!! i hope you don’t mind my curiosity, but how do you get your furby’s eye chips to stay in after adding custom eyes? :0 i’ve been struggling with it a lot. totally fine if you don’t want to answer💕 tysm for your time. your furbys are awesome!
Hiii tysm 💕 I’m not sure what the issue with your eyechips is entirely so here’s a couple possible solutions for ya!
1) If the eye chip is generally loose and falling out easily it’s too loose! Add a tiny bit of hot glue to the back of the eye or inside the eye socket and keep the eye centered as it dries!
2) If the eye pops right back out then it’s probably too big! Most of the eye chips I use are a little on the bigger side and generally they can go in with a little elbow grease. Don’t be afraid about using a little extra strength to get them in but don’t force them! If you have multiple eye chips it may be good to go through them and pop them in and out of the eye while blank to see if any stay in easier! I’ve noticed that some chips are a tiny bit bigger or smaller than others so this is to just find ones that are the right size.
There is also the final potential problem
3) Your furby has weird eyes! Nothing wrong with it, it just means that if you bought them new chips they might not fit!! I have 2 furbys that cannot fit any of the one I bought for them unles they are too small. For them I had to take their original eyechips they came with and rub the paint off the back of them with rubbing alcohol (do not use acetone!! It melts the plastic!!!). You can get them clear and they should go right back in.
Aaaaa this was a lot! Sorry if this didn’t help! But if you have more questions you can always send another ask or DM me!
